Background
Jonathan Beauford came from humble beginnings in New York and successfully navigated his way through the most elite institutions in the world, earning degrees from Princeton (BA), NYU (MA), and Yale (MBA), and now working at Google for 8+ years leading dynamic high-performing teams. His academic background is in psychology (BA, MA), strategy, and management (MBA) and he has 12+ years of experience building, leading, and managing teams and programs focused on personal and professional development.
Jonathan is also a professional speaker and the CEO of Last Gen Publishing. He started his career in psychology with a focus on student success. As a result of years leading college access and success programs he discovered that many students are hungry for empathetic guidance on how to navigate social pressure and self-doubt so they can lead successful and fulfilling lives.
Combining his experience and desire to help, he took to the stage with the goal of reaching as many people as possible in the realm of college success. Today, his talks give students inspiration and action steps to take control of their fears, goals, and the experiences that will take them from who they are now to who they want to be.
